Held annually each summer and organized by the Kiwanis Club of North Modesto since 1999, this multi-day celebration draws over a thousand classic cars from across California for a downtown cruise parade and a weekend car show at the Modesto Junior College West Campus. It directly celebrates the city’s connection to “American Graffiti,” which was inspired by cruising along these same streets. Proceeds benefit local youth scholarships and charities.
Modesto Certified Farmers Market
Running twice weekly since 1979, this longtime downtown market isn’t a single event so much as a recurring fixture, with live music at every session and seasonal produce, crafts, and food vendors. It’s one of the most consistent, low-key ways to experience local Modesto life on any given week.
Gallo Center for the Arts season
