How We Rate Things
Every Place carries two separate ratings, and we never blend them together.
Our editorial rating is scored by our own team across specific criteria: experience, quality, value, uniqueness, service, atmosphere, accessibility, and family suitability.
Our visitor rating is the plain average of reviews submitted by people who have actually been there. Both are always labeled as exactly what they are.
How Content Gets Made
Some of our destination guides and Place research are produced with AI assistance, always under editorial review before publication. Every fact is checked against real sources, and nothing is invented.
Reviews, photos, and on-the-ground details come from real visitors, not generated content.
Community Contributions
Anyone can save Places, write a review, suggest a correction, claim a business, or propose a Place that is missing. Every submission goes through moderation before it appears publicly. We would rather be slower and right than fast and wrong.
