Atwater Historical Society Museum

Housed in the historic Bloss Mansion on Cedar Avenue, this volunteer-run museum covers Atwater's railroad and Air Force base history through the Atwater Historical Society's collection. The Bloss Mansion itself is a genuine historic structure predating most of Atwater's other buildings, giving the museum a distinctive setting beyond just its exhibits. Its all-volunteer operation means hours can be limited, so a call ahead is worth it before a dedicated visit.
