A Holiday Inn Express a few minutes north of Patterson at the Westley I-5 interchange, with a pool, whirlpool, and hot breakfast included. It's one of four hotels clustered at the same Westley exit, and the most full-featured of the group, making it the better pick if you want more than a bare-bones budget motel without driving all the way into Tracy. The interchange itself is little more than a gas station and a row of hotels, so plan to eat in Patterson or Tracy rather than at the hotel.
