Lao Boat Racing Festival

Held each September at Lake Yosemite, celebrating the Central Valley's Laotian community with traditional longboat races, organized by the Vatthanatham Lao Foundation. The traditional longboat races are a genuinely distinctive spectacle not found at most other Central Valley events, reflecting cultural traditions specific to the area's Laotian community.
