Mooney Grove Park

Tulare County's oldest park, 155 grassy acres of valley oaks on the south end of Visalia with picnic areas, two 18-hole disc golf courses, a fishing lagoon, and the End of the Trail statue at its south end. The lagoon draws a resident population of geese and ducks alongside anglers, and the mix of disc golf, picnic space, and historic statuary gives it more to do than a typical county park. It genuinely rewards a half day rather than a quick pass-through.
