Black Rascal Creek Bike Path

Known locally as the Rascal Creek Bike Path, this paved trail starts at Rahilly Park and follows a well-preserved riparian greenbelt, with underpasses bypassing busy intersections and a disc golf course and playgrounds along the way. It extends toward Lake Road and connects with the path to UC Merced and Lake Yosemite. The underpasses are a genuinely useful safety feature, letting cyclists and walkers avoid several of Merced's busier intersections entirely. Its connection all the way to Lake Yosemite means it can serve as a much longer ride for anyone looking to turn a short bike path into a full outing.
