Riverbank Cheese and Wine Festival

Held annually each October on 3rd Street, this festival runs wine and cheese tasting alongside arts and crafts vendors, downtown Riverbank's biggest single event, now in its late 40s of annual editions. The festival draws visitors from across Stanislaus County for a full day of tastings, vendor booths, and live entertainment, transforming the town's small downtown into a genuinely busy street fair for the weekend. It's organized through the city's own Parks and Recreation department rather than a private promoter, which keeps the event closely tied to the community itself.
