Woodward Reservoir Regional Park

A 3,700-acre Stanislaus County park north of Oakdale built around a 2,900-acre reservoir, with boating, water skiing, fishing, camping, a go-kart track, and a model airplane field. Open daily 6am-10pm. The sheer scale of the reservoir sets it apart from anything in Riverbank itself, and the go-kart track and model airplane field give it a genuinely different character from a standard water-recreation park. Its size makes it a realistic full-day destination rather than a quick stop.
